Buffalo Grove has a history of maintaining their spatial data in CAD. The Village never had a dedicated in-house staff person or the resources available to implement a “true GIS system.” By joining the Consortium the Village is working towards converting their CAD data and mapping into a comprehensive GIS program with links into multiple Village wide databases.
